Android Application Sensitive Personal Data leak

Millions of people use devices based on the Android operating system. But it has now emerged that the user personal data potentially leaked Android apps on Google's operating system is.

To quote the BBC page, researchers revealed that of the 13,500 Android apps being tested, nearly 8 percent failed to protect bank accounts and social media login users.

The research was conducted by researchers from the group of data security in Lebiniz University of Hanover and computer scientists at Phillips University of Marburg. The scientists tested the application is considered popular and is available at Play Store.

By creating fake wifi hotspot and use the tool created to spy on the data sent by the application route, these scientists can do some of the following.

1. Capturing login details for online bank accounts, email services, and social media networks as well as corporations.

2. Eliminate security program, or deceive the program by creating a label that some apps are safe to be infected application.

3. Entering data into a data flow computer that makes many applications make specific orders.

An 'attacker' could even redirect requests for transfer of funds, while showing no change in transaction processing in an application.

The researchers also said that some applications do not secure it even has been downloaded millions of times. "Most participants (application) can not determine the state of security of a browser session appropriately," the researchers wrote.

"The most important thing, researchers need to learn through the approach that offers the right combination will use, to the developers and users. Advantages security and economic incentives will be placed in a large scale," the researchers said.
